The oil inside matters more than the hardware

• Live resin — extracted from fresh-frozen flower, keeping the strain's real terpene profile. Louder flavor, more strain-specific effects, moderate price premium.
• Live rosin — solventless: pressed from fresh-frozen material with ice, water and heat only. The connoisseur tier; the closest a vape gets to the plant.

How to spot a quality cart

2. Oil color and viscosity — golden to amber and slow-moving is normal; very dark, watery or crystallized oil signals age or bad storage.
